The Roll basketmaking  of Guacamayas is distinctive from the Guacamayas region in Boyacá and it is an inherited indigenous craft  from the Laches natives.

Every certified product is  made out of hay rolls covered in fique thread. The fibers are dyed with vegetable paints or industrial anilines.

This is a product with a protected designation of origin.
